The T-42 (also called TG-5) was a Soviet heavy tank prototype developed in 1930. It was designed at the OKMO design bureau under a team led by the German engineer Grotte. The tank, with four turrets, weighed 100 tonnes and was armed with a 107mm gun. It had pneumatic servo-mechanisms for engine control, and a pneumatic suspension. It is unknown whether the prototype was finished.
