T-46 was a Soviet light tank prototype based on the T-26.

In 1935, S. Ginzburg of the OKMO team at Zavod Nr. 185 modified the T-26 to accept the Christie suspension. The modified tank was designated the T-46. A prototype of the T-46 was deployed by a brigade that fought in the Winter War in 1940. There was a plan to build about seventy vehicles but it was soon discovered that the tank was expensive and over complicated for mass production.
